THE JONES Project

During my internship at Rockfab Kitchen and Bath, I worked on various kitchen and vanity design projects, including nearly 45. This experience helped me develop my skills in the field. While I enjoyed all projects, I’ve selected a few significant milestones.
One memorable project was the Jones Project, my first job as an intern. It involved designing a kitchen, three bathrooms, and a powder room. As an intern, I designed the kitchen and powder room, crucial components of the project. To create the design, I used affordable RTA cabinets from Cypher Ridge and JSI, which specializes in dove white door styles. The company’s high-quality products at reasonable prices and ready-to-assemble format made the installation quick and easy. Despite challenges, I successfully completed the design and presented it to the client, though the project wasn’t sold.
The experience gained from this project honed my skills and made me a better designer.
The Peterson Project
One of my standout projects was designing the Peterson kitchen, where I utilized Kitchen Cabinet Distributors (KCD) and Lenox Canvas Pantry software to create a detailed and customized design plan. This included mapping the layout, customizing cabinets, drawers, and shelves, and selecting a unique, exotic color to give the kitchen a personalized and distinctive touch.
With meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail, I ensured the installation and finishing were of the highest standard. This project was both challenging and rewarding, allowing me to grow personally and professionally, and it remains a highlight of my career.
The Wagner Vanity
The Wagner Vanity, a double sink vanity, was a challenging yet rewarding project. It features 15 inches of open space beneath the sink, accommodating tongue-and-groove seating, 30-inch vanity base cabinets, and one 12-inch vanity drawer base. Unlike regular base cabinets, these are 21 inches deep and 36 inches tall, providing ample storage. Decorative legs enhance its aesthetic appeal, while a skirt board supports the overhanging countertop, ensuring stability and functionality.

The Kuehne Vanity.
The Kuehne Bathroom project, my first independent project, marked a significant milestone in my career. Using Faircrest cabinets, I designed a classic Winchester grew door style vanity. I created a detailed installation kit with precise instructions for toe kick and filler placement. I took pride in every aspect of the project, from cabinet design to installation instructions. This experience enhanced my skills and instilled in me a deep sense of satisfaction. I eagerly anticipate continuing to create beautiful and functional spaces for my clients.
The Tiwari Kitchen
The Tiwari Kitchen, a new-build project, I dedicated myself to its success. The cabinet design, chosen from KCD Napa white, brightened the space. A Wellborn hood enhanced functionality and aesthetics. The island base oven cabinet with a convenient trash pullout saved space and simplified cooking and cleaning. Decorative false doors complemented the customer’s taste. This project allowed me to connect personally and showcase my skills. I’m proud of the result and its impact on the customer’s daily life. I eagerly anticipate more challenging and meaningful projects, creating beautiful and functional spaces for my clients.
